MY WRITING PROCESS: PLOT BULLETS
Writing a novel isn't easy; outlining helps.
I'm a huge fan of outlining, but it took me years to develop a process that worked for me. So, I thought I'd share that process to help you develop your own.
My Writing Process Day #1: Plot Bullets.

I don't come up with a full blown chapter-by-chapter plot right away - I'm not a superhero. I start with the seven basic elements and turn them into bullet points to start with before expanding them into color-coated notecards and, ultimately, a chapter-by-chapter breakdown (that will come later and get your Valium ready).
ACT I:
Ordinary Day/Set Up
Inciting Incident
Call to Action
ACT II:
Rising Action
Midpoint
ACT III:
Climax
Resolution
Keeping following my blog to join me on this journey to create a full-length novel. I'll be sharing more of my process. Stay tuned!
